Your role

The software team in Ålesund is the main hub for development of Seaonics' Seabrief portal and Seaonics' internal tooling. The Full stack developer will take an active part in development and delivery of market leading technology in the marine environment.

• Play a key role in developing and enhancing our customer platform.
• Build systems handling high-volume cloud storage with data coming from vessels from all over the world.
• Design APIs and document handling software.
• Develop mission-critical internal tooling used to improve efficiency of internal processes and workflows.
• Develop and maintain systems for Cyber Security.

About you

• You know how to design, develop and maintain backend services using Node.js
• You know how to build and implement UI components using React and Typescript.
• You have experience with SQL and Docker
• You are familiar with cloud providers such as AWS or Azure.
  

Following competence is an advantage but not required:

• MSc or BSc degree in computer science, software engineering, cyber security or similar.
• Candidates without formal education but with relevant experience may also be considered.
• Experience with linux.
• Git
• DevOps
• LDAP
