Are you our new System Administrator - IT Security?

Join our dynamic IT operations team in Oslo/Fornebu as System Administrator IT Security and play a crucial role in managing and enhancing the maturity and security of Norwegian`s IT platform as well as helping bridge IT operations with IT security best practices and the wider IT organizations.

At Norwegian, our IT operation team is the backbone of our digital platform, responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our IT Systems.

In this role, you will engage closely with key stakeholders such as our CISO, developers and IT Operations, providing expertise and guidance to enhance IT maturity and security.

You will be helping fulfil the IT maturity and security roadmap across platforms, systems and other identified areas, ensuring comprehensive protection for all applicable areas.

You are our ideal candidate if you have:

• Wide skill in IT system administration and security matters with a focus on hands on skillsets as well as best practices.

• Broad technical knowledge of enterprise platforms and IT security applications, processes, testing, tools, and future developments

• Firm grasp of IT and security best practices as well as cybersecurity frameworks.

• Experience in testing and exercises related to IT security.

• Motivation to contribute and make a difference in a team with varied challenges.

• General IT knowledge to understand IT security in a Hybrid IT infrastructure. OT knowledge is also a benefit.

• Cybersecurity related certifications are a benefit but not a requirement.

• An understanding that IT security is an enabler for business.

• Knowledge of change management and ITIL procedures.

• Proven skills in communication, cooperation and the ability to generate accurate documentation related to work activities.

• Proficient in both written and spoken English and a Scandinavian language.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Helping bridge the gap between IT Operations, IT Security and the wider IT organization, bringing security best practices directly into the IT Operations team.

• Ensure that the IT platforms and user flows align with the IT strategy and frameworks established by the IT Management, the CISO, and possibly you.

• Assist the IT Ops team in their common responsibilities.

• Collaborate with the CISO and security teams on various matters.

• Assist in the administration of various IT tools including some security tools. Helping ensure the tools are providing optimal capabilities for business needs.

• Assist in the collaboration between various IT teams during investigations of IT incidents, security or otherwise.

• Make sure IT and the business evolve technology and processes according to new evolving IT security risks and direction from the CISO, IT Management, and possibly you.

• Assist in the cooperation between Norwegian’s various partners, vendors and security providers.

• Take part in projects to evolve and modernize Norwegian's IT platform with focus on IT security and optimal functionality.
