Offshore rotation: 20.04.2026 – 17.01.2027

Job description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Commissioning Engineer to support commissioning activities for exciting projects based in Haugesund. This role needs a proactive, safety-conscious professional who can contribute to a safe and efficient start-up process, both onshore and offshore.

Key responsibilities:

• Follow up commissioning activities throughout the project phase to ensure a safe and efficient start-up.
• Define and mark commissioning boundaries.
• Prepare commissioning procedures and ensure approval according to project milestones.
• Ensure that drawings and documents are updated with any changes identified during commissioning.
• Maintain accurate “as-built” documentation.
• Take full system responsibility for commissioning activities where needed.

Qualifications:

• Technical College (Fagskole) or higher education in a relevant field. Extensive and relevant commissioning experience may compensate for lack of formal education.
• Previous experience in a similar mechanical commissioning role.
• Familiarity with electronic systems for project follow-up and handover is an advantage.

Valid certifications:

• AT (Work Permit).
• SJA (Safe Job Analysis).
