We are searching for an experienced Test Engineer (hardware) in a temporary position at our Stavanger facility

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

You will contribute to ensuring the quality and compliance of Laerdal’s products for the global market by working as a part of the Hardware Test Team in product development projects as well as improvement of the products.
You will manage verification activities by planning the test scope, designing test procedures, building test setups, executing and documenting test results performed on products and systems, all to prove quality and compliance with technical requirements and product standards.
Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Relevant work experience may substitute for formal education.

• Experience in testing complete hardware products, preferably within the Medical Device sector.

• Familiarity with test standards and the necessary equipment for hardware testing.

• Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.

• Ability to present and document complex data in a clear and understandable manner.

• Skilled at handling multiple tasks at the same time.

• Good communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

• Advanced in English, including technical writing and verbal communication.
