Head Energy is looking for a skilled/experienced Senior Automation Engineer

Job Description:

• Responsible for planning and execution of modifications within own field for the project
• Technical support resolving direct and short-term actions
• Ensure technical integrity criterias are met and maintained for related performance standards.
• Ensure close cooperation with critical suppliers and contractors.
• Support and plan activities in order to provide safe, in-control and efficient management of field equipment and systems within domain for the FPSO.
• Strong commitment to the HSSE, integrity and automation standards within client when carrying out the responsibilities, delivering safe, efficient and reliable operations within the framework of our management system (BMS).
• You will support client common strategies to ensure continuous improvement, standardization and efficient across all client offshore assets.

Qualifications:

• Master of Science or similar in Automation, preferably with specialization in Control systems
• Minimum 5 years of experience with design and operation of offshore facilities and systems, preferably within the oil & gas industry.
• Experience and understanding related to all relevant discipline standards and guidelines
• Systematic, structured and reliable in the performance of daily tasks.
• Dedication and a personal drive for continuous improvement
• Good communications skills in both Norwegian and English
