We´ve just rebuilt our entire data platform from the ground up. It´s fast, scalable, and designed to power the next generation of personalisation and experimentation across our product. Now we´re looking for a Data Engineer to help shape what comes next.

What You´ll Be Working On

As a key part of our 11-person centralised Data & Analytics team, you´ll:

• Model clean, trustworthy dimensional data models for analysts, scientists, and stakeholders

• Develop platform infrastructure (e.g. dbt, Terraform, CI/CD worfklows in GitHub) to support scalable workflows

• Create internal tools and frameworks that improve how others in the team work with data

• Build robust data pipelines in Python

You´ll work closely across the stack with the team and other engineers across the company - and you´ll do it in 7-week focused "Cook" periods where we work towards meaningful objectives, and "Prep" periods with dedicated time for retros, demos, and learning.

We work with a modern data platform that gives us speed and flexibility:

• Databricks for storage, ingestion, orchestration, workflows

• dbt for transformation and modelling

• Terraform for infrastructure as code

• GitHub for version control and CI/CD

• Azure for our cloud environment

• Power BIfor reporting and self-serve analytics

• Mixpanel for product analytics

You don´t need to have used all of these - we´ll help you get up to speed!

Who We´re Looking For

You might have worked as a data engineer , data platform engineer , analytics engineer, or in a similar role, but we´re more interested in your skillset, mindset and motivation than your title.

You´ll thrive in this role if you:

• Have 1+ years of experience working with data transformations or platform engineering

• Enjoy writing clean SQL and structuring data models that make sense to others

• Are comfortable with Python and curious about building infrastructure and tooling

• Are collaborative, pragmatic, and excited about building high-quality data products

Nice to have (but not required):

• Experience with dbt, Databricks, Terraform, or GitHub actions

• Experience working in Azure

• Exposure to Power BI or supporting self-serve analytics in other tools

• An interest in working across the full data stack
