Job Description:

• Support internal clients with operational procurement activities
• Identify opportunities for operational excellence and cost saving
• Support and ensure alignment with Company's strategic objectives
• Work with other disciplines to meet customer requirements
• Seek good working relationships within the division
• Identify suppliers, obtain quotations and negotiate terms of purchase
• Actively work to avoid single source and bid waiver situations where possible
• Contribute to increased auto procurement towards Frame Agreement Suppliers of spares and consumables
• Manage supplier contracts and relations
• Perform and facilitate expediting tasks and reporting of same
• Facilitate cost control and verification of invoices
• Contribute to the development of KPI's and encourage continuous improvement
• Participate in the revision of all routines within the discipline
• Participate in internal audits in the division
• Ensure all purchasing routines and procedures are followed
• Ensure that Company Business ethics are adhered to
• Assist in pre-qualification of potential suppliers
• Follow up vendors on a secondary level
• Utilize systems and programs provided by Company

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business, Economics or equivalent
• Good technical understanding of drilling and marine equipment
• Knowledge of the offshore drilling / oil industry
• Supplier market knowledge
• Strong customer service orientation
• Ability to manage multiple interfaces and meet internal customer needs
• Ability to develop and maintain internal customer and supplier relationships
• Ability to work systematically and efficiently
• Good knowledge of IT tools and systems
• Good Norwegian and English skills, both written and oral
