As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for:Engineer -- Insulation (Not rotation) with experience in onshore or offshore projects.

Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.

What will you be doing?

• Prepare and ensure high-quality job packages in line with project requirements

• Ensure building methods are correctly implemented in work packages

• Follow up on changes and ensure updates are reflected in job packages

Qualifications we think you should have:

• You are fluent in Norwegian and English

• Theoretical knowledge of piping and equipment insulation work and requirements

• Familiarity with relevant project documents, standards, and specifications

• Experience creating work orders and working as a field engineer

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree, or technician with relevant skills (experience can compensate for formal education)

• Strong collaboration skills, independent and proactive with high work ethic

• Experience with MIPS, CCS, and 3D tools
