RamBase is looking for a Backend/Platform Developer

RamBase is now looking for an enthusiastic backend developer to join our team. In this role you will get the opportunity to work on the latest technology and play a critical role in building the core systems that power RamBase.  You'll design and implement scalable solutions, optimize our backend architecture, and contribute to our modern development practices.

RamBase is a cutting-edge SaaS solution built upon a robust, in-house developed platform. We leverage a modern technology stack (.NET, C#, SQL, Angular, Azure, Kubernetes) with a commitment to continuous delivery and microservices/micro-frontend principles. Our global team of 60 highly skilled software engineers fosters innovation and collaboration.

The position will be a part of the Platform and Operations team. The team’s primary goal is to empower development teams by providing them with robust infrastructure, tools, frameworks, and support. Additionally, they are responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing The RamBase Platform and its associated features. Their commitment is to ensure seamless operations, reliability, and continuous improvement for the entire organization. The team consists of a Team Leader & Technical Software Architect, Operations Manager, a Product Manager representing the product department, and five dedicated developers.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role as backend developer you will design, develop, and maintain platform components and services using C# and .NET. You will also develop new frameworks and development tools.

Other responsibilities include

• collaboration with architects and other developers to ensure cohesive system design
  
• optimizing database design and queries for performance and scalability
  
• troubleshooting complex issues and contribute to architectural discussions as needed
  
• maintain and extend our own programming language - COS

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is motivated by working on new technology and in multidisciplinary teams. For this role it is desirable with knowledge about modern programming languages and frameworks. We are working with technologies like C#, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps and Microsoft SQL Server. 

Other preferred qualifications:

• A broad understanding of technologies 
  
• It is an advantage, but not a requirement, to have knowledge about security and authentication
  
• Relevant educational background (experience can compensate for education)
