We’re hiring an Event Coordinator (Temporary) at Mesh – help us host the future of the Norwegian startup ecosystem

We’re looking for an Event Coordinator to join Mesh – the heart of Oslo’s startup and innovation scene – for a temporary position from February to June. Your job? To be the primary point of contact for everyone looking to host impactful events in our spaces during one of our busiest seasons. From the first inquiry to the final toast, you’ll make sure our clients feel supported and that every detail is executed to perfection.
You’ll be the bridge between a client’s vision and reality—handling requests, coordinating with our hospitality team, and ensuring our event spaces are the go-to destination for the local ecosystem. You’ll work closely with our Head of Hospitality to reach our goals and keep the Mesh energy high.
What you'll do
Be the first point of contact – Follow up on all incoming event requests via phone and email with speed and a smile.
Showcase the house – Give tours of our premises to potential clients, showing them exactly why Mesh is the best place for their next big thing.
Close the deal – Create quotations, negotiate terms, and keep our records sharp so every event is a commercial success.
Master the execution – Coordinate everything from internal room bookings and F&B (with our HoH) to staffing and external suppliers. You’ll even jump into the action on-site when needed!
The final touch – Handle the wrap-up, from gathering client feedback to ensuring the invoicing is spot on.

You’re service-minded to the core – You take pride in making sure clients feel heard and happy.
You have a commercial mindset – You’re comfortable with negotiations and motivated by reaching targets.
You’re proactive and hands-on – You don’t wait for things to happen; you make them happen.
You speak and write English and Norwegian fluently – Communication is key in this role.
The Details
This is a temporary position running from February 2026 through June 2026. It’s a high-energy period with plenty of opportunities to get plugged into the Oslo startup scene!
