Are you passionate about structure, precision, and making sure everything is in its right place? Do you have a strong grip on configuration management practices and thrive in a dynamic project environment? We’re seeking a skilled and dedicated Configuration Manager to support one of our key projects and take the lead in developing, implementing, and maintaining world-class configuration processes.
As a Configuration Manager, you’ll be a central figure in ensuring our projects maintain clarity, control, and compliance throughout their lifecycle. You'll work across engineering, quality, and project management teams, acting as both a guardian of the baseline and a catalyst for continuous improvement.
Some work tasks:-
Developing and maintaining Configuration Management Plans (CMP) and Configuration Item Data Lists (CIDL)

Managing the Project Change Log and internal/external Change Requests

Acting as the main contact for official document exchanges and transmittal package control

Supporting baselines setup and drawing control in the PDM system

Ensuring alignment between PDM-approved configurations and ERP systems

Backing up the Project Manager in document planning and milestone tracking

Supporting supplier audits, internal reviews, and quality initiatives

Promoting best practices in configuration management and quality throughout the project lifecycle
You have preferably a master’s or bachelor’s degree within a relevant engineering field and a passion for precision. Preferably 4--6 years of relevant experience in engineering, process, or technical service. You’re well-versed in PDM systems, MS Office, and ERP (Business Central), with MS Project as a bonus.
ISO 10007 knowledge and experience.
Strong communication in Norwegian and English is essential. You bring a structured mindset, analytical thinking, and a proactive attitude. Steady under pressure and collaborative by nature, you know how to build trust while maintaining high professional standards.

Location:Office location is Nøtterøy until summer 2026, after that we will be moving to newly renovated offices in Skoppum, both in Vestfold, Norway. We also have an office on Solli, Oslo.
