As a Project Planner at Novenco you will be part of a young and dynamic environment. You will be working with planning and scheduling of multidisciplinary products and challenging projects. Our planners are working to ensure that both inhouse engineering activities and that supplier activities are progressing as planned. As a Project Planner you will be a part of a project team, and you will be responsible for making sure that the project planned activities and progress are updated and reported according to internal procedure. As you will be the Project Manager’s eyes and ears for schedule, it is important that you are flexible and proactive, i.e. you will participate in daily project communication, and it is expected that you take ownership of your work and actively engage with the Engineers and Project Managers.

Key responsibilities:

• Be a part of the project organization, assisting the Project Manager with project and administrative planning activities,
• Review of the Project contract to verify scope of work, deadlines and deliveries
• Collecting scope of work info from the team members for the purpose of creating the project EPMS
• Ensure that schedules are established, built up with necessary logic and networking and making sure that the schedules are continuously updated.
• Regularly collect progress information from the team members for the purpose of progress update of the project EPMS
• Communicate the progress of the projects to the project organization.
• Issue internal and external weekly reports and monthly reports.
• Continuously collect information related to risks and evaluate possible consequences to the EPMS and report to PM
• Continuously collect information related to claims and evaluate possible consequences to the EPMS and report to PM
• Report planned load vs available capacity in the project to the PM
• Report on planned progress vs actual progress in the project to the PM
• Highlighting in early stage any concerns that may lead to a schedule consequence and propose corrective actions
• Be proactive and solution oriented. To be the Project manager's second hand when it comes to handling of schedule and seeking solutions.
• Follow up of progress from suppliers, actively engaged to check correctness of feedback from suppliers

Qualification:

• Master / Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Science discipline. (Lack of education may be replaced by relevant work experience)
• Relevant background from planning projects in engineering / construction / manufacturing
• Beneficial with knowledge of and experience with one or more of the following: Power BI, ProArc, Dynamics 365 (project module)
• Experience with Safran, Safran web access, MS Project and/or similar
• Must be able to work with all programs in Microsoft Office
• Good communications skills in English, spoken and written
