Join Our Team in a new established role as Cash Controller at Elkjøp Nordic Group

Elkjøp Nordic Group is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cash Controller to join our dynamic team. This newly created position will be crucial for maintaining Elkjøp Nordics ability to meet its financial obligations, cash improvements and support strategic initiatives.

As Cash Controller you will be key contributor for monitoring, analysing, and forecasting cash inflows and outflows, driving working capital improvements, and providing insights into cash flow patterns. You will identify trends and address discrepancies to achieve cash targets and cash related KPIs.

Your key responsibilities as Cash Controller will be:

• Serve as an advisor and analyst for cash inflow and outflow within the Nordic Group, acting as the contact person for the Nordic Finance team, including the Business Process Outsourcing provider, various departments, entities and other group functions.
• Provide recommendations to ensure sufficient cash generation processes for operational activities and strategic initiatives.
• Drive continuous process improvements and coordinate working capital initiatives.
• Investigate and explain deviations from forecasts, budgets, and previous years through both monthly and weekly cash flow reporting in cooperation with Cash flow team
• Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support cash flow forecasting and analysis.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather and validate data, ensuring accuracy and reliability including contribute on calculating cash targets and KPIs, but also drive different necessary activities in this regard
• Support informed decision making by providing timely and relevant insights, mitigating risks and enhancing overall cash forecast expectations
• Prepare and present cash flow analysis reports to management
• Collaborate with UK/Currys Finance to ensure alignment and consistency.

We think you need the following qualifications to succeed in this role:

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in business and/or finance controlling.
• Proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting.
• Strong accounting and financial analysis skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to garner support from stakeholders
• Good understanding of ERP systems (SAP is an advantage), business warehouse, and data analysis tools (SAP/POWER BI).
• Advanced skills in Excel and the Office suite.
• Fluency in Norwegian and English.
