Manager IT Strategic Sourcing

As Manager IT Strategic Sourcingat Kongsberg Maritime, you will play a key role in shaping how we work with our global IT supplier landscape.

Operating at the intersection of technology and commercial strategy, you will influence sourcing decisions, develop strong supplier partnerships, and ensure that our IT investments support business priorities, strengthen resilience, and deliver long-term value.

What you will be doing

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies across IT categories such as software, cloud, hardware, and services
• Contribute to the development of sourcing capabilities and ways of working across the organization
• Lead procurement processes from supplier selection to contract negotiation and follow-up
• Manage and develop key supplier relationships to ensure performance, cost efficiency, and value
• Collaborate with stakeholders across IT and the business to align sourcing decisions with strategic priorities
• Support governance, compliance, and risk management within the IT supplier landscape
• Build and develop a high-performing internation procurement team, fostering collaboration, capability development, and a strong strategic sourcing mindset across the organization

We think you should have

• Extensive experience within IT procurement, sourcing, or supplier management
• Experience handling complex procurement processes and negotiations
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Relevant higher education within business, procurement, IT, or similar fields.
• Experience from similar leadership positions in larger companies with a complex digital portfolio
• Good understanding of the IT supplier market and commercial models
• Good communication skills in both Norwegian and English
