Bjørk Restaurant brings people together over great food in the very heart of Bodø. Our kitchen combines Nordic ingredients with Italian inspiration – from wood-fired pizza and fresh fish to flavorful meat dishes and seasonal creations.

We are now looking for an experienced Pizzaiolo with strong knowledge of Italian pizza, who is also comfortable working with other Italian dishes. This role is ideal for a chef who is passionate about Italian cuisine as a whole and enjoys variety in daily kitchen work.

The role

As Pizzaiolo at Bjørk, you will be responsible for producing high-quality Italian pizzas. It is a big plus if you can also contribute to the preparation of other Italian-inspired dishes on the menu. You will work closely with the Head Chef and the rest of the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and consistent quality.

Your responsibilities include:

• Preparation and baking of Italian pizzas, including dough handling, toppings, and oven work
• Maintaining high standards for taste, texture, and presentation
• Contributing to the production of other Italian dishes such as pasta, sauces, and starters
• Supporting daily kitchen operations during à la carte service
• Following routines related to hygiene, structure, and food safety
• Working efficiently as part of a team in a busy kitchen environment

About you

You are an experienced pizzaiolo who takes pride in authentic Italian pizza, but you also enjoy working with broader Italian cuisine. You are reliable, structured, and calm under pressure, with a strong sense of quality.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Solid experience as a pizzaiolo in a restaurant or pizzeria
• Very good knowledge of Italian pizza, including dough fermentation, shaping, and baking
• Experience with other Italian dishes beyond pizza
• Understanding of kitchen routines, hygiene, and HACCP
• Ability to communicate in Scandinavian and/or English
• A professional attitude and strong teamwork skills
