We are experiencing strong demand for skilled bricklayers for a variety of long-term construction projects in Bergen, including new residential developments, commercial buildings, restoration of historic properties, and modern housing projects. Our clients are well-established and reputable companies within the construction industry, and we are looking for qualified professionals who value long-term employment, professional development, and a safe, stable working environment. Job Responsibilities Your duties will vary depending on the project and may include:
  • Bricklaying for new construction, renovation, and restoration of existing masonry
  • Working with a variety of materials and construction methods
  • Construction and renovation of bathrooms, shower facilities, and swimming pools
  • Building brick and block walls, as well as masonry façades
  • Tiling, plastering, and grouting
  • Repair and maintenance of existing masonry
  • Construction of masonry structures using brick, concrete blocks, and natural stone
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of documented experience as a bricklayer
  • Experience in both new-build and renovation projects
  • A vocational trade certificate is an advantage but not required
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and construction plans
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently, both independently and as part of a team
Personal Qualities
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to quality
  • Reliable, well-organized, and responsible
  • Solution-oriented with good teamwork skills
  • Comfortable working in a multicultural and multilingual environment
Language Requirements You must be able to communicate effectively in English or Norwegian. What We Offer
