Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 11,000 people in more than 20 countries.

What will you be doing?

• Performing and evaluating process simulations in early‑phase studies and bottleneck analyses

• Delivering high‑quality static (and dynamic if required) simulations, mainly in UniSim

• Working independently to propose solutions that optimize process facilities

• Supporting maintenance and modification work on the NCS through simulation and process evaluation

• Applying NORSOK standards in relevant design and study work

• Contributing to study work and providing technical recommendations

• Ensuring availability and flexibility to support project needs

We think you should have:

• Senior process engineer with solid experience in static simulation

• Strong skills in Hysys, UniSim and Olga

• Detail knowledge of simulation tools (static and/or dynamic)

• Experience from NCS maintenance, modification projects and study work

• Good understanding of NORSOK requirements

• Ability to work independently and propose optimization solutions

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in process engineering or similar

• Mobility and availability to support project execution
