As Head of Change Management at GlobalConnect, you will own our Change Management process end-to-end across network, infrastructure and IT environments. You will lead the Change Management team, chair the Change Advisory Board and act as the final decision point for high-risk or high-impact changes.

To succeed in this role, you likely have:
  • Experience from telecom, network, infrastructure, mission-critical IT, system integration or similar environments

  • Leadership experience from a team, project organisation, operations function or service management function

  • Solid understanding of Change Management, ITIL practices and governance in complex technical environments

  • Experience from a larger in-house or matrix organisation, with the ability to influence across functions

  • Professional proficiency in English; Nordic language skills are an advantage

About the role and the team
Service Assurance is responsible for securing availability and quality across service platforms, network and fibre infrastructure. The organisation owns core ITSM processes such as Incident, Change and Problem Management.

You will lead a team of approximately 10+ Change Management specialists and report to VP Service Assurance. Your responsibility is to ensure that planned changes are assessed, approved, scheduled and followed up in a way that protects production environments and customer services.

Preferred locations are Fornebu and Uppsala. The role follows our hybrid setup with at least three days per week in the office.

The role is part of a mission-critical function, so urgent situations may require availability outside a strict 9--16 working day.

What you’ll be working on
  • Own and develop the Change Management framework, governance model and ways of working

  • Chair CAB and ECAB, including final decisions on high-risk or high-impact changes

  • Ensure changes are risk assessed, approved and implemented with clear ownership and rollback plans

  • Align change activities with operational, customer and transformation priorities

  • Lead and develop the Change Management team, while building strong collaboration across technical and business functions

Who we are looking for
You are a structured leader who understands the importance of stability in business-critical environments. You can see the bigger picture, assess operational risk and make decisions when priorities conflict.

You build trust across technical and non-technical stakeholders, communicate clearly and challenge constructively when customer or production impact is at risk.

Does this sound like you? If so, we would love to hear from you!

Our recruitment process
  • Screening interview with TA Partner Anna

  • Hiring Manager interview

  • Personality and ability tests feedback and discussion with TA Partner Anna

  • Case interview with Hiring Manager and peer/stakeholder

  • Final alignment meeting, references and offer

Note that the final candidate will be subject to a background check through our partner Semac.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of a critical governance function with real mandate, visible impact and the chance to shape how stability and change work together in a complex digital infrastructure environment.
