A summer internship in Aker BP will give you 6-8 weeks of practical experience within a relevant field of expertise and a taste of what it's like to work for us. You will socialize with other summer interns, grow your professional network, and learn from experienced professionals.
The Finance, Strategy & Partner operated (FSP) organisation in Aker BP strives to be recognized as the industry benchmark. As a summer student within FSP you will be part of an inclusive and enthusiastic team. Key areas FSP in Aker BP is responsible for includes financial reporting and accounting, performing financial analyses and investment decisions support, cost and performance management, strategy and sustainability.
Typical work tasks can be to independently run analysis within key focus area for Aker BP and support with running tasks (These will vary depending on the department you will be assigned to).
Typical work tasks can be:-
Analyse and report costs vs. internal targets and budgets.

Calculate and benchmark operational and financial performance.

Prepare and visualize management presentations.

Participate in the financial reporting process.

Use of financial models for reporting, forecasting and valuation.

Your exact assignment will be decided based on our business needs combined with your field of expertise and your interests.

Enrolled in a relevant master program within Economics and Business Administration, such as Finance, Accounting or similar and is in your 3rd or 4th year.

You have an analytical mindset.

You have strong technical skills, especially in Excel.

You are fluent in English and able to communicate in Norwegian.
