We are looking for a Senior Business Controller to join Schibsted Media’s Financial Planning & Analysis team. The FP&A team plays a central role in ensuring strong financial governance, efficient financial processes and high-quality decision support for management across Schibsted Media.
In this role you will work at the intersection of financial steering, finance systems and process improvements, helping drive the evolution of finance in a fast-moving digital media environment. You will play an important role in strengthening financial steering and enabling better decision-making across Schibsted Media. Key responsibilities:
Drive financial processes and reporting-
Own and develop financial planning processes including monthly reporting, rolling forecasts and long-term planning

Ensure structured, efficient and high-quality financial processes, reporting templates and deliverables.

Provide financial analysis and monitor key drivers and risks to support management decision-making.

Act as a key finance representative in initiatives related to financial systems.

Work closely with the Finance Systems team and BI specialists to ensure tools support finance processes and enable better insights.

Contribute to the development of future planning and reporting solutions.

Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and increase automation across the finance organisation.

Lead or contribute to cross-functional projects focused on efficiency, standardisation and improved ways of working.

Enable scalable solutions that allow finance teams to spend more time on analysis and decision support.
We believe the right candidate combines strong financial competence with curiosity for systems, processes and technology.
You likely have:-
A higher education degree (Bachelor or Master) in Finance, Economics, Business or similar

Several years of experience within FP&A, business controlling or consulting
-
Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
-
Experience with financial systems, BI tools or planning tools
-
A structured and proactive mindset with the ability to drive improvements
-
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams and stakeholders

Fluency in English and a Scandinavian language
Experience withfinancial systems implementation, automation or process developmentis considered an advantage. What we offer:
