As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with the Sales team to prepare accurate, detailed cost estimates that help us submit competitive, profitable, and winning bids. Using data analytics, you will continually improve our bidding tool, refine pricing models, and streamline related processes to increase win rates, sharpen margin accuracy, and boost overall efficiency. Beyond bidding, you will turn complex data into clear, actionable insights that reduce costs and improve day-to-day operations across our departments.
This position reports to Manager Financial Planning & Analysis, and will work closely with Sales, Engineering & Contract.
Job description- Prepare cost estimates in coordination with sales & engineering team
- Development and maintenance of cost database in collaboration with internal departments.
- Collection of current and historical data for performance analysis
- Development of the CFM56 MRO cost estimating system and structuring of databases
- Analyzing estimating & benchmarking data
- Periodic analysis of material, subcontracting and labor cost data associated with engine overhaul to check accuracy/deviations in cost parameters proposals
- Creating detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field. If lack of formal qualification, relevant experience can be considered.
- Experience in data analysis, cost estimation, or financial modeling---preferably within aviation or MRO environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in data management tools and MS Excel; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
- Ability to interpret complex data and present clear, actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across departments.
