Summer Internship 2026 -- Turn theory into practice

Looking for a summer that’s filled with serious engineering, not‑so‑serious ice cream breaks and a chance to kick start your career?

Good! We’re looking for Solutioneers and future Changemakers to join us as Summer Interns 2026 at Aker Solutions , within the fields ofElectrical, Planning, Piping & Material Tech and SAS/Instrumentation & Automation.

Positions are spread around our offices in Stavanger, Bergen, Trondheim and Kristiansund.

At Aker Solutions we’re transforming the way energy is designed, delivered and improved. And this summer you could be right in the middle of it!

So, what will you be doing?

You will join project teams working on real challenges and contribute where it matters. You will collaborate with experienced specialists, get guidance when you need it, and space to prove what you’re capable of.

Expect hands-on learning, steep development curves and the occasional “wow, I actually helped build that” moments.

Who are we looking for?

You’re currently studying for a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, science, data or a related field. Maybe you love solving problems. Maybe you’re the structured planner in your group project. Maybe you’re the one asking, “But what if we tried it this way?”

You’re curious. You take initiative. You enjoy working with others. And you’re ready to step outside your comfort zone.

Perhaps you are engaged in a student association, have a cool part time job or you are passionate about your hobby? That’s more important to us than having all the answers.

Practical information

The internship runs between June and August 2026 (exact timing agreed with your manager) and lasts around 6--8 weeks.
