The Group Sustainability team consists of six dedicated employees located in Norway and Finland. The working language is English. The Group Sustainability team works closely with the dedicated responsible colleagues within the different business areas of NG Nordic and is, among others, responsible for:

Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, including the EU CSRD and ESRS

Developing and following up on the sustainability strategy and Impact Roadmap across the Group

Strengthening insight, quality, and decision-making related to climate and environmental impacts
We are now looking for a sustainability manager to join our team, to fill a temporary position due to parental leave.
Your roleAs Sustainability Manager, you will have a central role in developing and strengthening our climate-related work across the Group and ensure our reporting is timely and correct. You will work closely with our business areas, operational teams, and sustainability specialists.
Your main responsibilities will be:
You are motivated by creating structure, clarity, and insight in a complex field --- and by helping the business make better climate- and sustainability-related decisions. You enjoy collaborating across teams and are comfortable working both operationally and strategically.
We would like you to have:-
Higher education in a relevant field
-
2--5 years of experience from a similar role or field, preferably within sustainability, consulting, auditing, or industry
-
Experience with greenhouse gas accounting and familiarity with CSRD/ESRS
-
Analytical skills and the ability to work with large and complex datasets
-
The ability to translate technical or regulatory complexity into clear and actionable insights
-
Knowledge of relevant frameworks such as the GHG Protocol, TCFD, TNFD, the EU Taxonomy, and similar initiatives
-
Experience with project management is an advantage
