Procurement Coordinator

Vard Group is searching for a Procurement coordinator eager to work within an international and motivating environment. The Procurement coordinator is employed in Procurement Department and reports to Procurement Manager.

Duties and responsibilities

• Function as link between Procurement, PM, planning department, disciplines coordinators and Tech coordinators and provide necessary update regarding procurement needs from the projects.
  
• Budgeting, reporting: update the delivery schedule, follow the deviations from the initial budget and plans.
• Identify all the procurement for a project.
  
• Coordinate with technical team to make the template documents for the RFQ process.
  
• Internal expediting to guarantee respect of internal deadlines (VARD Group, VARD Electro, VARD Accommodation)
  
• External expediting level 1, then handover to the Senior expeditor for main items / suppliers if necessary

Qualifications

• Higher education within logistics/procurement, technical or financial 
  
• Relevant experience can replace the education requirement
  
• Preferably experience in managing suppliers
  
• Preferably experience with SAP or similar ERP systems. 
  
• Understanding of procurement functions and processes 
  
• Excellent written and oral communication
