Testnor is a technology company aiming to build technological robustness and resilience through testing. We are expanding our team to meet the global demand for testing of advanced and innovative technologies for operations in some of the world’s most challenging environments -- the Arctic.

With support from the Norwegian Space Agency and European Space Agency, Testnor develops novel services and digital product to ensure that mission-critical technologies --- in transportation, aerospace, defence, autonomy, and more --- can perform reliably under demanding and extreme conditions. The services we are building are highly requested from some of the world’s leading technology companies, government agencies, and international research institutions.

Why this work matters

In today’s increasingly connected and unpredictable world, resilient communication, navigation, and sensing technologies are essential for civilian safety and coordination. Natural disasters, cyberattacks, and electromagnetic interference can disrupt critical systems, threatening emergency response, healthcare, transportation, and everyday life.

We operate in a dynamic and rapidly evolving market, and our customers develop and apply novel and disruptive technologies---such as quantum computing, advanced AI-driven systems, and cutting-edge communication---where rigorous validation and assessment are essential to ensure reliability, security, and real-world performance in complex and challenging environments.

We are seeking engineers with experience from one or more of the following areas:

· Wireless communication technologies and spectrum management (e.g., software-defined radios, mesh networks, interference mitigation)

· Cybersecurity and secure data transmission (e.g. quantum-safe cryptography and zero-trust architectures)

· Advanced communication systems

· Resilient sensing and navigation systems

· AI and data analytics for real-time network optimization and automated system reconfiguration

· System integration, testing, and validation under challenging or contested operational conditions

· Arctic autonomous operations
