About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Contracts and Category Professional to drive procurement strategies, manage supplier relationships, and secure high-value agreements that support project and organizational goals. The role suits someone with strong commercial insight, negotiation skills, and the ability to independently manage complex procurement processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and optimize procurement and category strategies.
• Lead supplier communication, negotiations, and contract discussions to secure the best commercial and technical outcomes.
• Manage, organize, and maintain contract records and related documentation.
• Analyse markets, suppliers, and industry trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and support innovation.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal business management systems and external regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, engineering, logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in procurement, contracts, or category management.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to support decisions.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively with a strong results focus.
• Fluent in English and Norwegian, written and oral.
