Utengen Transport is Hiring an Experienced CE Hook-Lift Truck Driver -- Kristiansand--Sweden

Are you looking for a rotation-based driving job with long periods off, competitive pay, and the opportunity to work for a well-established transport company with more than 100 years of history?

We are looking for an experienced and responsible CE Hook Lift Truck Driver. The position involves transporting metal between Kristiansand, Arendal, and Sweden on an attractive 6 weeks on / 3 weeks off rotation.

You will operate a hook lift truck with three trailers/containers in combination, transporting bulk metal and residual waste efficiently between Norway and Sweden.

During your work period, you will sleep in the truck and have access to shower facilities, laundry services, and other amenities along the route.

This position is ideal for drivers who enjoy long-distance driving, working independently, and maintaining a strong focus on safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Operating a hook lift truck pulling three containers

• Transporting metal and residual waste fractions between Kristiansand, Arendal, and Sweden

• 1--2 loads per day

• Loading, unloading, and securing containers

• Securing cargo in accordance with regulations

• Daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance

• Using Excell sheets and order management system (Opter Cloud)

• Contributing to safe, efficient, and professional transport operations

Rotation & Working Hours

• 6 weeks on -- 3 weeks off

• Working days of up to 12 hours

• Average 40-hour work week

• It is preferred that you sleep in the truck during the work period

• Access to showers, laundry facilities, and other amenities

Qualifications

• Valid CE driving licence

• Valid Driver CPC (Code 95) or equivalent qualification

• Previous hook lift truck experience is an advantage

• Strong commitment to safety and compliance

• Able to communicate in English or a Scandinavian language

• Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
