The Sales Manager will be responsible for all sales and commercial activities across Norway, Sweden, and Denmark within Laboratory Diagnostics. You will also lead a team of product managers/product specialists.
We are looking for a Sales Manager with a strong commercial mindset and that will thrive by developing and executing commercial strategies to drive sales growth and develop businesses. The successful candidate will navigate in a matrix organization, be pro-active, self-motivated, business-oriented with experience working with laboratory solutions.
Key Responsibilities - What are you going to do?- Develop and execute sales strategy for the market in alignment with the Business Unit value proposition and strategy
- Sales Planning and Management, identifying sales opportunities and work proactively to create maximum growth with the sales team
- Work proactively with strategic suppliers and conduct regular business reviews to align on targets and strategy
- Accountable for defining tender strategy, product positioning and pricing strategy in regards to tenders as well as the commercial assumptions in this regard
- Together with the sales team manage customer portfolio, including but not limited to opportunity identification, lead qualification, pre-sales planning, presentation, closing, post-sales support and follow-up
- Support closely sales with strategic accounts/opportunities during customer meetings and other events
- Analyze and work proactively with the market and strengthen the company's competitiveness within the business area
Additional duties may be assigned as necessary to meet business needs.
Qualifications and Skills - What is your background?- University degree required, preferably in biomedical analysis or other equivalent training
- Preferably experience from IVD/LAB sales, in biomedicine and LAB environment in the field of pathology or Molecular Diagnostics
- A minimum of 5 years sales leadership experience
- Driver's license is a requirement
- English and one of the Scandinavian languages (Norwegian, Swedish or Danish)
- Ability to work independently with strategy and execution
- Structured with a good overview providing systematic and proactive approach with sales team and Manager
- Capable of translating Mediq strategy into actionable plans for own area of responsibility and link between the Mediq strategy and day to day activities of your team
- Create an environment of team spirit and trust, provide feedback and coaching to support their personal development and contribution
This position can be based in either Sweden, Norway, or Denmark where we also have office locations. You will report to our Head of Business Units Nordic, Lab, Wound Care, Diagnostics located in Denmark. Travel activities within Scandinavia, as well as participation in supplier meetings and events within and outside the region. Up to 60-80 travel days annually can be expected.
