Join Steam Tours as a Winter Guide in Tromsø (2025/2026 Season)

Steam Tours is expanding! Alongside our hotel concept, we are launching guided tours for our guests, with daily Northern Lights tours and additional excursions on request. We’re looking for enthusiastic and service-minded guides to create unforgettable experiences for our guests during the magical Arctic winter.

What you’ll do:

• Lead engaging Northern Lights tours and share your knowledge about nature, culture, and the Arctic region.

• Research and select the best locations each day using weather models and forecasts.

• Drive a minivan safely in winter conditions.

• Serve light meals and snacks during tours.

• Capture moments by taking photos of and for guests.

Who you are:

• Outgoing, service-oriented, and highly organized.

• Passionate about travel, nature, and the Northern Lights.

• Comfortable spending up to 9 hours with guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and cared for.

Nice-to-have (but not required):

• Experience in photography.

• Previous guiding or hospitality experience.

Must-have:

Must have had a valid Norwegian Class B driver’s license for at least 1 year.
