We are looking for a Environmental Advisor

Job Description

• Support drilling and development activities by providing expert environmental advice and ensuring compliance with environmental standards and regulations
• Follow up relevant government applications and permits related to drilling and development activities
• Contribute to risk assessments and chemical assessments
• Support project activities within approved frameworks and concepts
• Handle and support government correspondence related to environmental matters
• Provide consulting within energy management and emission reduction initiatives
• Follow up and report relevant environmental parameters internally and externally
• Ensure supplier and rig owner compliance through follow-up and duty of care activities
• Contribute to sustainable and environmentally responsible operations across offshore activities

Qualification Requirements

• Relevant higher university degree within environmental science, engineering, sustainability, or similar fields

• Typically 5-10 years of relevant experience within environmental advisory or environmental management

• Strong knowledge of Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS) and European environmental regulations and standards

• Extensive experience with environmental impact assessments

• Thorough understanding of oil and gas industry practices and business conditions

• Excellent communication skills in both English and Norwegian

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams

• Strong analytical and advisory capabilities within sustainability and environmental compliance
