Work responsibilities:

• Guiding e-bike tours and hikes in Tromsø area, mostly few hours activities. "Soft adventure" tours. Tromsø Outdoor's goal is to bring people closer to nature, share our everyday life, and introduce our guests to outdoor activities and the Arctic ways of life.

• Taking care of the bikes used during the activities.

• For the interested candidates occasionally work at Tromsø Outdoor Activity and Rental Center renting out bikes and providing guests with all necessary information.

Position Requirements:

• Good English and German spoken proficiency is necessary for the position.

• Relevant experience in guiding outdoor activities.

• Outdoor and guiding education will be a great advantage.

• Knowledge and interest in Norwegian and Tromsø's history, nature, culture, and geography.

• Passion for working outdoors, being active and sharing own interests with guests.

• Valid permission to work in Norway or EU/EOS citizenship.

• Positive, creative, and solution-oriented attitude.

• Being used to working independently and taking responsibility for work tasks.

• Driving license category B is an advantage for working at this position but is not necesary.

Work period: late May - end of August or September 2025.

Working Scheme Variable shifts between 8:00 and 18:00, usually ca 7.5 hours daily, often around the weekends - within flexible time frames or just for the weekends, planned 2-6 weeks in advance
