What You'll Do
Staffing is a business-critical function at the heart of what we do at BCG. As a Staffing Specialist in our Oslo office, you will help shape both people experiences and client impact by assigning the right consultants to the right projects. Working closely with fellow staffers, your Staffing manager and the Business Director, you’ll ensure optimal deployment of consulting teams to projects and business development efforts across the Nordics.
You’ll be part of the Oslo staffing team, collaborating closely with the wider Nordic Staffing team to solve complex staffing challenges that balance people development, business priorities, and client demands.
In this role, you will also contribute to broader HR-related topics, working together with HR and case leaders on different matters related to staffing.
Key Responsibilities Include-
Assigning staff to client projects and business development work

Balancing business needs and client timelines with individual development goals and staffing preferences
-
Communicating staffing decisions and serving as the main point of contact for consultants on staffing-related matters
-
Taking part in weekly pulse-check calls and following up with consultants on their case experience and well-being
-
Managing and updating staffing information in BCG’s internal tools (e.g., SAM, SharePoint, OneDrive)
-
Driving staffing-related analysis to support effective decision-making
-
Collaborating with key stakeholders, including HR, Finance, Global Staffing, and the local leadership team
This is a unique opportunity to sit at the intersection of business priorities and people development---helping our teams thrive while supporting BCG’s impact with clients.
What You'll Bring
We welcome candidates with various backgrounds and levels of experience. What matters most is a strong sense of ownership, sound judgment, and a positive “can do” mindset.
-
You likely hold a bachelor’s/Masters degree in HR, business, or a related field---but more importantly, you have strong professional drive and eagerness to learn
-
Ideally, you have some experience from staffing or other people related role
-
You’re comfortable working with data and enjoy supporting analysis to inform decisions
-
You have strong IT skills, especially in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

You’ll thrive in this role if the following describes you:
-
You are trustworthy, able to handle sensitive information with discretion
-
You adapt easily to shifting priorities and work well under pressure
-
You take ownership, structure your work effectively, and pay attention to details
-
