Morrow Batteries is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the operational reliability of battery production at the Morrow Cell Factory. This role involves handling both preventive and corrective maintenance on production and utility equipment, contributing to the development of maintenance routines.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with industrial machinery, a solid understanding of electrical, mechanical or automation systems, and a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence. This position is critical to ensuring stable, efficient, and safe plant operations in a high-tech, cleanroom manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment in accordance with SOPs.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.

• Assist in developing and documenting maintenance routines and schedules.

• Execute preventive maintenance tasks to reduce downtime and extend equipment lifespan.

• Calibrate and adjust machinery to ensure process accuracy and consistency.

• Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools to support maintenance activities.

• Adhere to safety and quality protocols; report safety concerns or incidents.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment condition, and schedules.

• Respond to unscheduled maintenance needs to minimize production disruptions.

• Certified electrical/automation technician or mechanic (Fagbrev as a minimum is preferred).

• If you do not hold a Norwegian Fagbrev, electrical certification must be approved by DSB.

• Proven experience in maintaining and repairing industrial equipment, preferably with PLC control.

• Familiarity with maintenance documentation and ERP systems (SAP experience is a plus).

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Understanding of OEE and continuous improvement practices.

• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and work instructions.

• Forklift and/or crane certification is an advantage.

• Prior experience operating in compliance with Norwegian regulatory standards is desirable.
