The main objective of this position will be on managing customer relationships, achieving sales targets, negotiating contracts, and creating sales strategies for customers around the globe. The position also involves market analysis, internal collaboration, and maintaining our brand identity.
Sales Strategy Development:- Lead, feed and manage the customer base and region and be responsible for achieving the annual sales budget, with assigned profit margins.
- Negotiating and closing deals, create plans and strategies to grow existing and win new customers.
- Lead the internal process of assigned proposal and contract creation and contract negotiation with customers.
- Analyze data reporting on sales performance against budget/goals, offering actionable insights.
- Create robust sales strategy plans for assigned region and customers. This includes known and unknown potential customers, fleet & engine volumes, competition, market data, current MRO contracts in place, a clear view forward on how to close deals.
- Lead the implementation, adoption, and ongoing maintenance of CRM software across the sales team
- Represents the organization in a positive & professional manner, internally and externally.
- Collection and analysis of relevant marketing and sales information, and present this to the internal commercial organization.
- Assure a proper handover of won sales cases to the customer focus teams and support the internal organization in case issues not limited to finance, work scope or warranty arise and require sales involvement.
- Works within and outside the organization in line with the Aero Norway values, a positive and professional manner, assures that he/she fully understands the internal or external customer position, context, expectation and requirement and act accordingly in order to create an optimum customer and team spirit and culture.
- Develop comprehensive marketing strategies that align with sales objectives.
- Develop and maintain brand identity guidelines and standards
Education:
- Aviation engine commercial related job experience, preferably CFM56.
- Understanding of marked dynamics relevant to aviation or similar industries is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills paired with a strategic mindset
- Excellent communication abilities, including negotiation and presentation skills
- Fluent English language skills, both writing and verbal
- Commitment to continuous improvement
- Strong drive for achieving results and meeting targets
- Financial acumen and understanding of business metrics
- Be proactive and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrate good interpersonal skills and act in accordance with Aero Norway’s core values.
