Hotell Utsikten is perched high above the picturesque town of Geiranger, offering breathtaking views of the world-renowned Geiranger Fjord. Since 1893, we've welcomed guests from all over the world during our beautiful summer season. As a proud member of Classic Norway Hotels, we offer an unforgettable experience in a cozy setting, with just 29 rooms and an intimate restaurant serving 40 to 60 guests.

We are now looking for a passionate and skilled chef to join our small, dedicated team of around 15 staff members for the upcoming summer season.

As our chef, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality meals and contributing to a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing delicious à la carte dishes that showcase local ingredients and seasonal flavors.

• Contributing to menu planning alongside the kitchen team.

• Assisting with staff meals for approximately 15 team members.

• Supporting kitchen organization and daily operations in collaboration with the head chef.

• Helping with purchasing, stock control, and ensuring minimal food waste.

• Following food safety procedures (IK-Mat), including regular temperature checks and maintaining hygiene standards.

• Contributing to a positive and professional kitchen environment.

We're looking for someone with:

• A background in culinary arts and relevant experience working in professional kitchens.

• Good knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety (IK-Mat).

• A team-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, seasonal setting.

• Proficiency in English; Scandinavian languages are a plus.
