Site Operations Manager - Qatar

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Site Operation Manager for an expatriate position based in Doha, Qatar.

CSUB is an international technology company that delivers tailor-made solutions in glass fiber-reinforced polyester (GRP) for a wide range of applications. Are you ready to take on a key role in an international technology company with a growing presence in the Middle East?
CSUB is experiencing an exciting phase of growth, including the establishment of new production sites internationally, close to our main markets. We are now launching production in Qatar in collaboration with our partner Qatar Shipyard Technology Solutions (QSTS), and are seeking a proactive and experienced Site Operation Manager to oversee on-site operations for the project. The role entails leading a team of CSUB Supervisors and acting as the primary liaison between CSUB and the Qatar Shipyard Technology Solutions (QSTS) Project Manager. The ideal candidate will ensure the efficient execution of fabrication processes while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and schedule compliance.

Key Responsibility

• Lead CSUB Supervisors on site and act as main contact toward QSTS 
• Monitor fabrication progress to ensure quality, safety, and timely delivery
• Identify and resolve production issues and inefficiencies
• Coordinate with CSUB Engineering, Sourcing, Supply Chain, and Plants
• Manage inventory and prevent material shortages
• Report to CSUB Project Manager (project-related) and CSUB COO (line manager)

Main Tasks

• Safety Compliance: 
  Ensure compliance with safety protocols, lead safety meetings, and handle incident follow-ups
  
• Team Leadership and Coordination: 
  Lead CSUB Supervisors and daily coordination with QSTS to ensure progress, quality, and reporting
• Inventory Management at QSTS Site: 
  Maintain inventory control and coordinate with purchasing to meet project material needs
• Performance: 
  Conduct evaluations and arrange training as needed to support team development

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in site operations, fabrication, or project management, preferably in the oil & gas or energy sector
  
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
• Solid understanding of safety regulations and quality control practices
  
• Ability to work in a multicultural and demanding project environment
  
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Willingness to be stationed full-time in Qatar for the project duration
