• Valid bus driver license (category D) and valid Kjøreseddel -- mandatory

• Hands-on experience or technical understanding of bus operations, maintenance, or fleet management

• Strong logistical thinking and ability to troubleshoot in real-time

• Excellent communication skills in English and preferably Norwegian

• Positive, proactive, and self-driven with a high degree of flexibility

• Comfortable using basic digital tools (Excel, email, tracking systems)

• Work permit in Norway is a requirement

Arbeidsoppgaver

We are looking for a technically skilled and service-minded Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) based in Oslo. This is a hands-on operational role where you'll support day-to-day logistics, maintenance coordination, and field operations across our Hop On bus network.

To succeed in this role, you need to understand buses, love structure, and thrive in a dynamic environment. You will be working closely with our operations manager and will be a key resource in ensuring our buses and drivers are ready for service.

• Assist COO in operational planning and real-time field support

• Coordinate technical issues, service, and maintenance for our fleet

• Be present in the field during launch days, incidents, or inspections

• Support recruitment and coordination of seasonal drivers

• Ensure operational readiness of buses and staff on a daily basis

• Step in and drive a bus if needed
