In the product line Boats & Davits we are looking for a Quality Manager to support the QHSE Marine Region at Seimsfoss. In this role, you will improve quality standards and processes, manage deviations and collaborate with experts in projects and in advancing quality, safety and environmental standards. Furthermore, you are responsible for the Integrated Management System of the PL Boats & Davits. If you have an understanding and awareness of Quality, a structured way of working and a passion for Quality Management than you are very welcome in the QHSE Marine Team.

• Implementation of QHSE Marine strategies and objectives, monitoring of quality objectives in the PL Boats & Davits
• Support product development by applying quality tools, managing deviations, and focusing on strategic quality management initiatives
• Contribute to strategic direction and participate in release decisions in the Marine development process
• Define, optimize, and implement global quality, health, safety, and environmental management processes, while managing the Q-Circle
• Apply advanced quality management tools to enhance efficiency and ensure compliance with standards throughout the Product Development Process (PDP) and product lifecycle
• Conduct training sessions to increase awareness and provide technical support for improving the claim management process
• Driving the performance of continual product quality and customer satisfaction
• Palfinger Marine authorized representative towards customer, certification bodies and stakeholders for MED, FLagg, Class, MSC402(96), RINA, LSA etc, certifications and requirements

• Completed training in an economical or technical field, preferably with focus on quality management
• Several years of professional experience in quality management, internal auditing or quality assurance, preferably in the industrial environment
• Expertise in working with FMEA, APQP and/or PPAP; experience with SAP, Power BI and HSE topics is an advantage
• Strong communicator and team player, independence and proactivity
• Deeply knowledge of MED, Flagg, Class, MSC402(96), RINA, LSA etc. certifications & requirements
