Production Operator

One of our clients, a leader in zero-emission maritime solutions, is expanding its permanent workforce following a recent increase in production needs. The company specializes in battery energy storage systems and hydrogen fuel cell solutions for ferries, offshore vessels, tankers, and cruise ships.

We are currently hiring Production Operators to join the team. Some of the roles may lead to permanent employment, as has already happened for several team members. Work is organized in shifts, which can include morning/evening or morning/evening/night schedules, depending on production demands.

Position Requirements

We are looking for candidates with vocational training and practical experience. Specifically, we are seeking individuals with:

• Vocational Certificate in Production Technology, Automation, Industrial Mechanic, Industrial Installer, Industrial Food Production, Chemical Processing, Electrical (industrial focus), or CNC.
• Experience in production environments, preferably with automated systems. Industrial or industrial electrical experience is also valued.
• No higher education required, but it is considered a plus.
• FSE certification is desirable but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in English or Norwegian.

Responsibilities Include

• Operating manual and automated production lines.
• Following Work Instructions (WIs) to maintain process quality and consistency.
• Handling and organizing parts and materials for efficient workflow.
• Participating in Lean improvement initiatives and workspace organization.
• Performing daily maintenance and ensuring a clean, safe workspace.
• Adhering to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.
• Troubleshooting and performing routine maintenance tasks such as lubrication and replacing parts.
• Keeping accurate maintenance and repair documentation.

Compensation Package

Base Salary:

1. NOK 274.31/hour (morning/evening shift)
2. NOK 298/hour (morning/evening/night shift)

Additional Allowances:

1. Trade Certificate: +5% of base salary
2. Technical College Diploma: +10% of base salary
3. Evening Shift: + NOK 6,000/month
4. Evening & Night Shifts: + NOK 10,500/month
5. Overtime rates: 50% / 100%
