Looking for a Lead Developer \& Digital Growth Partner!

About the Role

• A core team member who combines hands-on development for growth-stage companies with sparring and advisory support for the CEO/owners on technology choices, product roadmap and scaling strategy.

• Will step straight in as acting CTO / principal developer for two portfolio companies.

• Splits time roughly 50 % hands-on coding and 50 % strategic development and team/vendor management.

• Drives continuous improvement of digital processes, data architecture and DevOps routines.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front-end code, core APIs, web/SaaS platforms and automated data integrations.

• Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies (AI tools, cloud services, low-code platforms, etc.).

• Build in-house development capacity or manage external partners; establish best practice for QA, security and documentation.

• Define technology and product KPIs and report progress to the CEO.

Qualifications

• 3--5+ years’ relevant experience as a full-stack developer, tech lead or similar.

• Strong foundation in modern web technologies (e.g. TypeScript/JavaScript, React, Node.js, Python or Go), cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) and CI/CD.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, technology or engineering.

• Proven track record of delivering scalable products or services.

• Fluent in Norwegian or English with strong written communication skills.

• Bonus: experience with AI/ML frameworks, data platforms or B2B SaaS.
