Junior Business Controller

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Business Controller to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will support the financial planning and analysis functions, contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes, and assist in optimizing business operations. The position can be based in Bergen, Norway; Hamburg, Germany; or Vilnius, Lithuania.

Main Responsibilities

• Create monthly Revenue and margin Reporting
• Support in further monthly Reporting activities
• Provide data through modern tools such as Power BI, SQL and Open AI.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Monitor and control costs to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
• Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Collaborate with various departments to optimize business processes and improve efficiency.

Core Requirements

• A master’s degree in finance, economics, or business administration.
• 2-3 years of experience gained in a professional work environment.
• Solid understanding of financial management and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in financial software such as PowerBI, SQL, AI tools, and Microsoft Applications.
• Sufficient English skills to produce reports, communicate in writing, present findings, and participate in discussions.
• Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across various departments.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities with a creative approach to developing solutions.
• A proactive mindset and a genuine eagerness to learn and grow professionally.
