We are seeking a talented Network Engineerto join our organization. As a member of our team, you will be sharing responsibility for the continuous running and improvement of infrastructure and services.
Our team ensures reliability and availability of our infrastructure at all times and providing constant uptime for our customers. This requires continual oversight of the systems, and responsiveness to outages. We are therefore also tasked with a regular cadence in which we carry out standby duties. These duties are scheduled at a frequency conducive to a healthy work-life balance, ensuring that the individual can effectively respond to critical situations while minimizing disruptions to personal time.
To be successful in this role, you must possess a strong understanding of core networking principles:

Routing & Switching: Basic proficiency in managing network traffic across Layers 2 and 3, including an understanding of BGP peering and routing tables.

Network Segmentation: Hands-on experience with VLANs and subnetting.

Security & Perimeter: Good understanding of firewalls administration.
Our preferred candidate also knows Cloud & Automation. While not strictly required, candidates with experience bridging the gap between physical and virtual infrastructure will be prioritized.

Public Cloud Networking: Familiarity with high-speed cloud connectivity such as Azure ExpressRoute/Virtual WAN or Google Interconnects.

Cloud Administration: General experience managing major platforms like GCP or Azure.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with Terraform and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar position.

Minimum Bachelor's, preferable a Master's degree in this field.

Live in/near Oslo/Lysaker.
