Restaurant manager

Can you imagine a future for you - and possibly your family in Eidfjord - an important part of the tourist destination Hardangerfjord? We are looking for a restaurant manager in a permanent year-round position for the Hardangerviddahallen restaurant from 2022.

We want a goal-oriented and committed restaurant manager who can continue and strengthen the restaurant's reputation through daily operations. You must be motivating and enthusiastic, good at building team spirit among staff. You must be able to work systematically and purposefully to achieve defined goals and create good customer experiences.

We are looking for a restaurant manager

• You like to be in contact with guests and provide great service

• You are interested in local food culture

• You are responsible, outcome-oriented and reliable

• You can work independently as well as in a team

• You are flexible regarding work tasks

• You enjoy a hectic and international working environment

Responsibilities:

• Be the host and make our guests and groups feel welcome

• Manage the restaurant

• Communication and sales to group travel / tour operators

• Responsible for staff, training, budget and working schedules

• Follow up with suppliers

• Internal control and reporting

• Good teamwork with other departments in the center

Qualifications:

• Experience from similar work

• Organized leading skills

• Time and cost oriented

• Speak and write Norwegian and English fluently
