We're looking for someone who:

Has a love of children, with an ability to inspire and engage the child

Is passionate about child development and helping each child reach their full potential

Is interested/experienced with the Montessori philosophy

Is structured with leadership abilities

Is a team player who can communicate easily and clearly

Is flexible and able to think on your feet

A police certificate is required on employment.

Joint leader, pedagogic and administrative responsibility of the section. Actively involved in the Montessori classroom

Active part of the preschool leader team

Developing close relationships to the children, parents and colleagues

Sharing your knowledge and abilities with all around you

We are actively involved in 'tett på' project in Bærum kommune and have a focus on this in our professional development.

Opening hours are 08:00-16:15 to ensure better staffing throughout the day.

We close for Christmas and Easter week and the month of July.

Om bedriften

We are an English speaking, international, private Montessori preschool with space for 24 children aged 2 to school age.

Our mission is to provide a secure, loving environment focused on nurturing each child as an individual. We want every child to experience a sense of belonging, friendship, community, self worth and self esteem as a foundation for further education and for life.

We provide the children with the tools and language to solve their problems through communication and teach them to treat everyone with tolerance and respect.

We foster independence and the child's intrinsic desire to learn and explore the world around them.

We currently have a project incorporating Norwegian into the daily life of preschool to help provide a smooth transition and aid intergration.

We are a well established preschool in Sandvika and are enthusiastic and excited about further developing and expanding our preschool.
