Instrument Metering

Job Responsibilities:

• Detailed design of instrumentation tasks.

• Participate in studies.

• Estimate instrumentation/metering tasks.

• Prepare job packages and follow up on deliveries.

• Discipline check of design basis (studies, drawings, and job packages).

• Follow up with suppliers, package responsibility.

• Participate in pre-test/FAT at the supplier.

• Participate in inspections onshore/offshore.

• Able to take on training responsibilities for new engineers.

• Perform as-built.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instrumentation/Automation Hardware.
Alternatively , a Technical College degree with extensive experiencein Engineering projects on the Norwegian Oil and Gas industry

Experience:

• A minimumof 8 years of experience in offshore-related projects.

• Strong experience in engineering design.

• Proficiency in Norwegian, both spoken and written.
  Alternatively, strong English skills, both spoken and written.

• Good knowledge of standards such as ATEX, Norsok, Equinor TR (Technical Requirements), STID, ProCoSys, ARIS.

• Extensive knowledge of modifications on operational offshore installations (VEM/M&M).

• Strong knowledge of instrumentation used in the oil industry.

• Good knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems.

Required courses and certificates:

• Validoffshore certificate for NCS and health certificate

• Basic EX course

• FSE high and low voltage with practicalfirst aid

Duration

Planned start date: 01.05.2026/etter avtale to 31.12.2027

Work location: Mandatoryto be present in Bergen 5 days week Supplier and candidates are expected to openly offer all relevant information about candidates/themselves during the hire-in process. Supplier and candidates may be asked for information on affiliation to high-risk countries for a security assessment. For candidates who are approved by the client, a third-party background check can/will be performed before start-up.
