Experience in hospitality leadership is required, and those with experience in a similar role will be prioritised.

As a Banquet Supervisor, you will be working with our Banquet Manager to plan and organise banquets, dinners and special events, with a special focus on organising your team, training them, and working in service alongside them.

Not only will you work to ensure your team is successful, but that they are motivated, happy, and have the Radisson "Yes I Can" attitude. You will be an integral part of the leadership team with dedicated administrative tasks, a hugely varied work day and the responsibility and trust to do all you can to deliver amazing experiences.

On top of that, here are the general duties of the role:

• Support the smooth running of the banquets department, where all aspects of the guest conference and banqueting service experience are delivered to the highest levels.
• Work proactively to improve guest satisfaction and comfort, delivering a positive and timely response to guest enquiries.
• Deliver on plans and objectives where banqueting initiatives & hotel targets are achieved.
• Supervise the banqueting team, fostering a culture of growth, development and performance within the department.
• Be accountable for ensuring that costs and inventory are controlled, and that productivity and performance levels are attained.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with all key stakeholders.
• Establish and deliver effective initiatives that advance service standards, profitability and cost control.
• Ensures adherence and compliance with all legislation where due diligence requirements and best practice activities are planned, delivered, and documented for internal and external audits, performing follow-up as required.

The successful candidate will have:

• Strong experience in banquets, meetings and events and/or general hospitality. 
• Strong supervisory and managerial skills with a hands-on approach and lead-by-example work style.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry.
• Ability to find creative solutions with proven problem-solving capabilities, offering support where required.
• Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence, time and energy.
• Experience working with IT systems on various platforms.
• Strong communication skills in both English and a Scandinavian language.
