About the Assignment
Our client is initiating a comprehensive RFP process to either select a new payroll provider or renegotiate the current agreement. We are seeking a senior consultant who can lead, structure, and quality-assure the entire process. You will work closely with HR, IT, Finance and Procurement in a complex and highly professional business environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and ensure a structured, transparent and well-documented RFP process.
- Gather, analyse and consolidate functional and technical requirements from internal payroll stakeholders.
- Review existing documentation (OPM, change orders, service catalogues, wage type catalogues, previous project material, etc.).
- Analyse the current vendor contract and assess improvement opportunities in the system setup.
- Benchmark the existing setup against industry standards.
- Identify requirements across collective agreements and internal business units.
- Develop a complete and detailed RFP requirements document.
- Evaluate vendor proposals against documented requirements and conduct reference checks.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration throughout the entire process.
- Lead Q&A sessions and workshops with potential vendors.
- Proven experience with payroll-related RFP processes.
- Strong knowledge of payroll vendors and market practices.
- Solid understanding payroll regulations and operational processes.
- Experience with complex payroll integrations (e.g., Oracle HCM, ServiceNow, payroll systems, shift planning tools).
- Fluent in English; Norwegian language skills are an advantage.
- Structured, analytical and quality-driven.
- Confident and independent in an advisory role.
- Strong communication skills with both management and subject matter experts.
- Skilled in facilitating processes and creating progress.
- Able to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes.
Assignment period: 15 January 2026 - 15 December 2026
Work location: Oslo/Fornebu (hybrid flexibility available upon agreement)
