Chef wanted for the summer season at Senja Fjordhotell

Senja Fjordhotell is looking for a skilled and motivated chef for the summer season from May/June through September.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic kitchen environment and wants to contribute to great dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook dishes according to menu and standards
• Work with both à la carte service and occasional events/functions
• Contribute to efficient daily kitchen operations together with the team
• Ensure high standards of hygiene and compliance with HACCP routines
• Handle goods and deliveries, including checking quality of ingredients
• Maintain cleanliness, structure, and organization in the kitchen
• Contribute to improving routines and workflow

Qualifications and personal qualities:

• You speak a Scandinavian language, or understand Norwegian well
• You speak English fluently
• Experience with Norwegian or Nordic cuisine is an advantage
• Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude
• Structured, tidy, and focused on cleanliness
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Good references from previous or current jobs
