We are seeking a Graduate Data Processor to join our team. In this 6-12 month program, you will receive comprehensive training and strong support from the department, helping you develop the skills and experience needed to transition into a Data Processor position.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- QA incoming survey data and give immediate feedback to Online surveyor when data doesn’t meet the client specifications.
- Process/Prepare survey data charts & deliverables in accordance with the given guidelines and specifications.
- Maintain survey, processing & Data deliveries logs.
- Participate in software testing, bug reporting and software development requests.
- Participate in improving processing efficiency and data quality by proposing and implementing new methods and equipment.
- Make sure all survey data deliverables are packed, labelled, stored and delivered in a professional manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in a Survey/Science/Engineering/GIS oriented subjects.
- Proficient verbal and written communication in English.
- Experience with one or several of the following is preferred:
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Access)
- AutoCAD
- GIS applications
- Willing to learn - you take on challenges and like to learn new things
- Flexible - you can handle changes and is ready to try new things
- Responsible - you always deliver what is promised
- Team player - you see the benefits of working together to solve the challenges ahead
- Structured - you have a systematic and methodical approach to work
