Location: Ure, Lofoten Position: Permanent / seasonal (to be agreed)
Do you dream of creating gastronomic experiences in one of the world’s most spectacular natural landscapes? In Ure, at the heart of the Lofoten Islands, we are building a restaurant that aims to set a new standard for fine dining in Northern Norway. We combine a passion for the sea and the surrounding nature with sustainable principles, hand-harvesting ingredients, and our own salmon production.
Here, our guests will not simply dine -- they will experience the flavours of Lofoten at their most authentic and innovative. From crisp sea air to mountains plunging into the ocean, our surroundings inspire both our menus and our kitchen. We create dishes that reflect the rawness and beauty of nature, and we are building a team who share this vision.
We are now looking for a passionate and skilled Chef / CDP to join our journey -- to shape, develop and elevate our restaurant’s offering to new heights.
We are looking for someone who:· Has experience from fine dining
· Works well as part of a team and contributes to collaboration
· Possesses strong culinary skills and a deep interest in ingredients, techniques, and innovation
· Is service-minded and quality-conscious
· Thrives in a small, ambitious team

Who Are You?-
An experienced Chef with a passion for fine-dining and thriving on delivering an exceptional seafood dinner menu.

A professional who values quality, taste, and visual presentation in every dish.

Creative and passionate about seasonal, local ingredients, particularly when it comes to seafood, with a focus on salmon.

Able to create a multi-course menu that changes every two months.

Highly skilled in seafood preparation and knowledgeable about Nordic and French cuisine. Molecular gastronomy skills are a plus.

A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and can work with other chefs at the same level.

Someone who engages in storytelling and enjoys interacting with guests to enhance their dining experience.

Organised and able to plan dishes in advance, with a well-presented, professional approach.

Flexible, solution-oriented, and ready to relocate to Lofoten for a permanent position.

Committed to high standards of hygiene and kitchen safety.

Fluent in English and/or Norwegian.

Om bedriften
Ure Lodge is in full development to be built as a need to visit destination. We are opening our Boutique Hotel , Fine-Dining restaurant, and a floating Spa. Our Fisherman's cabin/Rorbu are renovated and are quite unique.
Ure will be a destination that combines fantastic food experiences with Lofoten's unique nature and culture, and will be a reason to go.
